Kir Royal is a popular aperitif in France, made with Champagne and a dash of crème de cassis - a sweet liqueur made from blackcurrants. For a summery twist on this classic drink, we made ours with raspberry liqueur.
This is one of the easiest cocktails to make, and looks (and tastes) fantastic. These would be great served at a swanky cocktail party, bridal shower, or any other occasion worth celebrating... like Justin's birthday this Thursday!
Ingredients
- Champagne or sparkling wine
- Raspberry liqueur - such as Chambord or crème de framboise
- Fresh raspberries to garnish
Method
Add a dash of raspberry liqueur to the bottom of a champagne flute and top with sparkling wine; around 1 part raspberry liqueur to 5 parts sparkling wine. Garnish with a fresh raspberry.
Voila, it's party time!
