What a great time in British Columbia, Canada!
We had such a blast in BC; from visiting family in Vancouver, exploring Granville Island, and eating authentic dim sum, to staying with friends in the Okanagan Valley, wine tasting and soaking up the breathtaking scenery. From glamping in a quintessential log cabin and going on long hikes, to staying on a working farm complete with miniature donkeys, cows and chickens. We’ve been reading Rosie a lot of books about animals and farms recently, and this trip really made those stories come alive.
One of the magnificent First Nations' Totem Polls in Vancouver's Stanley Park.
Doesn't this look like a scene from Harry Potter? It's actually a collection of hand-made brooms for sale in a quirky boutique in Granville Island, Vancouver.
Rosie up close and personal with a miniature donkey at Sweetwater Lane Farm.
Mouth watering pork at Old Vines Restaurant, part of Quail's Gate Winery in the Okanagan Valley. The best moment was when Rosie reached over and grabbed the pork bone from my plate!
An ebullient turkey at Kangaroo Creek Farm. Can you imagine Rosie when she saw this magnificnet creature?!
A crisp glass of white in front of Lake Okanagan. Cheers to an epic trip!
