Justin's bar cart has been expanding, and his latest acquisition was a bottle of orgeat syrup - a sweet syrup made from almonds, sugar, and either rose water or orange flower water. It has a wonderful almond flavor, and is most famously used as one of the traditional ingredients in a Mai Tai.
Orange and almond is a match made in heaven, and summons up thoughts of the Mediterranean and Amalfi Coast. Whenever you are in the world, these are good thoughts to have when you're drinking a cocktail on a warm evening.
In this cocktail we work with this classic combination, and add Tequila and orange bitters to take it to the next level.

- 2 parts freshly squeezed orange juice
